The Irish in me
It was in 1830 that my Irish ancestor, James Kelly, came from Ireland to New York City, then migrated west to Illinois. Nearly 200 years and 6 generations ago. The Irish has gotten pretty diluted by now, but all of us with the last name Kelly have some traces of it. Mine showed up on my head via red hair.
